R.J. Phil
I am influenced in my photography by the works of the FSA photographers of the 1930s and 40s, and endeavor to document the existence of places and things that speak of an America that is in many cases, being lost to time. In a world of ever-increasing plastic sprawl, the subjects of my photographs remind us of the time when they had a life and purpose, and while many continue in their journey, others sit silenty, waiting for whatever the future holds. I hope that these images will validate their place in our history.
